Delicious and flavourful! The menu was amazing, I felt like I couldn't go wrong with whatever I chose. The pistachio baklava was an absolute delight as well. I was able to find lighter, more vegetable rich options which can be hard to find when you're out, so it was a particularly wonderful meal to have admist a day of shopping! There are definitely some very substantial choices if you prefer.

We stumbled upon this place during our trip to London without intending to eat Turkish food as a Turk in London. However, the captivating decor and warm ambiance caught our attention right away. Upon perusing the menu, we realized it was a Turkish restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. Everyone in the restaurant was incredibly welcoming; the manager, chef, and all the servers made us feel at home. As for the food – I cannot express enough about its taste. It stands out as one of my best Turkish food experiences, even compared to those in Turkey. Each dish offered amazing, rich flavors and textures. We particularly loved the stuffed eggplant, muhammara, beef skewers, and wood-fired prawns. Additionally, they have a great selection of Turkish wines. We opted for a bottle of red Chamlija wine. This place was the highlight of our trip to London, surpassing some Michelin-starred restaurants we visited during our stay. For anyone seeking authentic Middle Eastern cuisine, this is an absolute must-visit place.

Mezhar exceeded our expectations with a spontaneous visit after the theater. Despite being busy, they accommodated us outside with heaters. The Turkish wine was delightful, and the cold and hot mezze were both delicious and fresh. The service was outstanding—friendly and professional. Ending the meal with baklava and chai added a perfect touch. A delightful experience overall.
